After a few days, the rumour was confirmed : Professor Quirrell plus two students were visiting some school and they were coming to Laviana. Fuencisla got ready to interview them :

The Complete interview:

In our school in Greece Mass media is not taught as a lesson but Stefania and Dimitra Kentistou  tried to present Harry Potter in our imaginary school radio.
So here you are !!!

And here is our 2nd school radio programme on Harry Potter by Danae and Dimitra Koubetsou. Enjoy!!

CHEMISTRY

Students from both countries worked on Chemistry : experimenting, solving mysteries, ...

Harry Potter and the Periodic Table of Elements

You will wonder what is the connection between Harry Potter and the Periodic Table of Elements…  Well, we used “…our imagination and power..” and we tried to find and then break the codes in the Harry Potter’s first adventure using the Periodic Table of the Elements.
The presentation below gives a hint of how we worked....
Then Greek students made some number code words for you to read.  If you can break the code, write the word and stick on the right wall.

Spanish students decoding their partners' words with the help of our Language assistant:

And then tried to create their own, just for fun !!!!!

They also tried some "magic chemistry"  :

MUSIC

Harry Potter music reproduced by students of class B1B2 in noteflight.com.

                                                            LATIN

Celia, together with her Latin teacher and partners tried to find the connection between Latin and Harry Potter and... they found it !!!

It was very interesting indeed

Some of the speels you can see in the films :

                         PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Students also tried to work on quidditch: They found some information, not only about the books but also about "quidditch" in real world. They found quidditch has become a popular sport among young students,  there are teams in many countries and there is even a world cup competition. So... they wanted to try themselves !!!!!!

  •  they made a powerpoint explaining all the information they had found on the internet
  • they suggested how to play in their gym, adapting rules, court and equipment
  •  they prepared everything : broomsticks, pitch, equipment, adapted rules

and ...  they played !!!!!!
